Account Executive

After spending most of the last decade working in local and national broadcast journalism, Eric Crouch is thrilled to start a new journey with Strauss Media Strategies, where he was hired as an account executive in January, 2018.

Most recently, Eric was a multimedia journalist at WSJV-TV (FOX 28) in South Bend, Indiana, where he covered visits from President Trump, Sen. Ted Cruz and President Obama during the 2016 election cycle. He also covered Notre Dame Football and received a Silver Award for “Best of the Best” in local news from Leader Publications. Before that, he was weekend anchor/reporter at KVRR-TV in Fargo, North Dakota, where he covered President Obama’s visit to the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation, and the Casselton train derailment and explosions that reignited a national debate on hauling crude oil by rail.

Prior to his time in TV news, Eric spent time in public radio as a producer of “Interfaith Voices,” a religion-based program syndicated to 70 radio stations nationwide.

Eric also has national experience in TV production, as he was a researcher in studio production for ESPN in Bristol, CT.

A native of Niles, Michigan, Eric is a die-hard Cubs fan and proud graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and the University of Michigan. He and his wife live in Maryland with their two dogs.

"What a successful television campaign. You guys really showed your depth and talent on this one. You were responsive, flexible, adaptive and smart. Hopefully, our next adventure together won’t be so challenging, but it’s nice to know that if it is, we’re working with the right people."
