Strauss to Lead DC Chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization


WASHINGTON, DC – February 17, 2010 - Strauss Radio Strategies, Inc. (SRS), the nation’s leading provider of strategic radio media relations services, today announced that its president and founder, Richard Strauss, has been selected to serve as the President of the DC Chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO). The DC Chapter has 107 members, 665 million dollars in sales, and its members employ over 5,000 people.

With 7,300 members, 111 billion dollars in sales, and 1.2 million employees worldwide, the EO is committed to building the world’s most influential community of entrepreneurs through peer learning, connections to experts and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Entering his fourth year on the EO Board, Strauss brings the experience of serving previously as Learning Chair for two years and President Elect for one year. As President, Strauss will lead the chapter, coordinate with global officers, manage member communications and data on the website, plan chapter events, and assist with recruitment.

Strauss is a frequent speaker at national and regional industry events and, in addition to his new leadership role with EO, Strauss is an active member of the National Press Club and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Strauss founded the company 15 years ago after serving as the nation’s first White House Director. In this capacity, Strauss was responsible for creating and implementing the radio communications strategy for the Clinton Administration.
