Nation’s Leading Broadcast PR Firm Adds to Growing Staff

Washington, DC – October 17, 2012 – Strauss Radio Strategies, Inc. (SRS), the nation’s leading provider of strategic radio and television media relations services, today announced the addition of Matthew Lawrence, account executive, and Greg Pruett, assistant account executive, to its growing staff.

Lawrence, a political science and organizational communications double major, was most recently the national communications coordinator for the Young Invincibles, an advocacy non-profit for our nation’s youth. While there, he was responsible for the overall strategy and implementation of media campaigns for the organization. Among his duties, he booked and planned national television, radio, and print interviews. Before his work at the Young Invincibles, Lawrence served as a presidential appointee in the press office of the United States Trade Representative in the Executive Office of the President. While at the USTR he held the position of press assistant where he was responsible for the booking and logistics of television, radio, and print interviews.

Prior to becoming a full-time member of the SRS team, Pruett interned with Strauss Radio Strategies as part of the UCDC program; a competitive academic internship experience offered through the University of California. Pruett’s interest in the industry began to flourish during his time as a radio host on his University of California at Santa Barbara campus radio station, KCSB. For nearly two years, Greg hosted and produced “True Believer Radio,” a talk/music show, a show consisting of rock music and discussions of international events.
