Prior to becoming a full-time member of the Strauss Media team, Martha Serna served as the legislative correspondent for Congressman Rubén Hinojosa of Texas. While there, she was responsible for managing the communications between Congressman Hinojosa and his constituents. Martha’s initial interest in media and public relations began while studying the subject in college and then grew while experiencing the art of political communication working on Capitol Hill. Serna graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in organizational and corporate communication and a minor in marketing.
